You know what I don't have?
A camera.
*sighing*
In a nutshell, my camera broke.
*weeping silently*
Irreparable.
*weeping audibly*
We can't afford to replace it, not anytime soon.
*downright crying*
Not having a camera makes my soul ache. Sounds melodramatic, but it's true.
*sobbing*
I'm a photographer without a camera and this leaves me somewhat disoriented. With each passing day I feel a sense of loss as my eye sees photographs that I won't shoot.
*deeeeeeeeeeep breath*
Someday, this will be mine:
I've been obsessing about this camera. Just having decided which camera will be my next companion makes me feel a bit better...like I'm involved in a long-distance relationship and I know when we'll be together again. Or, rather, that we'll be together again. Or something.
Whatever. I'm going to go read the specs on my new baby again.
*smiling*
Ooooooooooooooooh no!! gasp! Hope you get a new camera soon.
ReplyDeleteOh no! poor you! Have you looked at Craiglist? Maybe you can find something reasonable in the interim? Boy, that witch thing sure would come in handy now, wouldn't it?
ReplyDeleteTo think I just panic when my batteries go dead for mine. I feel your loss.
ReplyDeleteChristine I am SO sorry!!! That sucks!
ReplyDeleteI would check on eBay and Craigslist, too.
So sorry. :(
I heard they give them away free if you live Tacoma.
ReplyDeleteI'm just sayin'...
Ouch! I hope I'll never feel your pain.
ReplyDeleteLots of great suggestions out there. Maybe you could still get the Rebel XT or XTi on closeout. It'll still be "new" and have the warranty.
ACK! You poor thing!!!!
ReplyDeleteI hear you. I would die without my camera.
I want a camera like that, too. I want a Nikon D40 or the Canon. I can't decide which one.
Oh no! What happened to yours? I am an uber freak about my camera at the moment because just over a year ago it was stolen... so we had to get a new one. then just recently I had to send it in to be repaired because my son had pulled it off too many end tables and the flash unit was busted. And just last week I dropped my parents camera (that I was borrowing while ours was getting repaired) and completely busted the lens gears. So now I have to buy them a new one. I'm a klutz!
ReplyDeleteWhatever you do, stick to what you want and what you know is good. I made the mistake of making a rush purchase when my camera died. I hate the new one, and now I'm stuck with it.
ReplyDelete{{{hugs}}} Broken camera=worse that cramps.
ReplyDeleteI had a camera for a while that I ducked taped and still had to hold the case shut to take a picture. Hard to have steady hand to focus with hand cramp trying to keep batteries in.
Arrrgh.
My husband took pity and bought me a purty little cannon for my 35th birthday. I hope you have the same experience.
I want that one, too, but I have to stick w/ a fits-in-my-pocket camera for now while the kiddos are still little.
ReplyDeleteOhhhh, I so know how you feel! I was recently without one for a while (I thought it had broke. . . but after many weeks of being stupid, I figured it out) and it stinks. And I'm really ready for an upgrade and my current one is a few years outdated and worn out. I've been eyeing the 40D and like you, I have to just keep making myself feel better by reading the specs on it and looking at photos.
ReplyDeleteI really hope you get your dream camera soon. I feel for you.
